There are 78 Vipasanna centres all over India out of which 18 are in North India. In Himachal it is based at Dharamkot, Dharamshala in the Dhauladhar range of Himalayas. Dharamkot is just a 1.5 Kms walk from Mcleodganj Square. All courses run solely on a donation basis. The applicants however need to fulfill registration formalities to be a part of the meditation course.
