Le Passage to India has added a major new accolade to its long-standing record in Indian tourism, receiving the IATO Award for Extraordinary Contribution in the Tourism Field 2026 at the annual convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators in Visakhapatnam.

The award was presented on 12 September at the 41st IATO Annual Convention in Visakhapatnam by Suman Billa, Additional Secretary and Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Sanjay Logani, Joint Managing Director, Arvind Bhatia, Senior Vice President, and Madhu Pant, Senior Vice President, received it on behalf of Le Passage to India.

Lalit Mehra, chief executive of Le Passage to India, said: “We are deeply honoured to receive this award from IATO. It is especially meaningful because it recognises not a single achievement, but a sustained contribution to Indian tourism.”

He dedicated the award to the wider LPTI team and thanked clients, partners, suppliers and industry colleagues for their trust and collaboration.
