The Kangra Valley train runs through the sub-Himalayan region, covering a distance of 164 kilometers from Pathankot to Jogindernagar. It travels over 933 bridges and through 2 tunnels, passing picturesque rivers and mountains which provide a truly thrilling experience for passengers.
The entire route commands stunning views of the snow-capped Dhauladhar Mountain range and showcases various historical, artistic, and cultural aspects. Running since April 1, 1929, this is the only train that gets so close to the eternal snow.
