What could be better than escaping to a cosy lodge in wilderness away from the crowded spaces? Junglaat lodge is the place where you need to be on your next vacation in McLeod Ganj. If you haven’t stayed at Junglaat yet already, hop to it.

Junglaat is an ode to the city of its location, and the design and thought to reflect this all the way. An ecorganic accommodation with intimate experiences. Every aspect of the lodge is an amalgamation of Himachali and Tibetan culture – from rooms where you will find hints of delicate Thangka paintings, typical Kullu shawls geometrical designs, to kitchen that serves food inspired by the homes of Kangra. Junglaat is all about the town it inhabits.

Each of its beautifully curated rooms offers a glimpse to the woods of Himalayan cedar and named after eight lakes that lies in Dhauladhar Himalayas and considered extremely sacred by the local residents namely Nag Dal, Lam Dal, Kali Kund, Kareri Dal, Chanderkoop Dal, Sukh Dal and Dam Ghodi Dal & Naddi Dal.

When staying at Junglaat lodge, you will not find plastic water bottles, plastic toothbrushes / razors or plastic straws. Instead, you will get RO filtered water, bamboo toothbrushes / bamboo razors and steel straws. An innovative way to minimise the use of plastic.

Due to social distancing restrictions you’ll need to book a spot in advance but be prepare to experience the uninterrupted moments of natural calm and unhindered, enchanting views to savour every moment along with the warmth of the traditional hospitality in the familiarity of all modern comforts.
