The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has rolled out the “LTC Special Andaman Emeralds Ex-Visakhapatnam (SCBA50),” a thoughtfully planned six-day, five-night package inviting travellers to discover the wonders of the Andaman Islands. Beginning December 5, 2024, the package offers a comprehensive itinerary covering famous sites, beaches, and local attractions.

The package, starting at INR 57,230 per person, includes round-trip airfare, comfortable accommodations, breakfasts and dinners, local transport, ferry tickets, and travel insurance.

Departing from Visakhapatnam, this package provides all essentials for a convenient journey, allowing visitors to fully experience the natural charm and cultural heritage of the Andaman.

Pricing and Occupancy Options

The package offers flexibility in pricing based on occupancy. For triple sharing, the cost starts at INR 57,230 per person, while double occupancy is available at INR 58,860 per person.

Solo adventurers can secure their spot for INR 75,115. Each visitor gains access to carefully curated experiences that highlight breathtaking landscapes along with visits to important cultural landmarks.

IRCTC has put together a detailed plan, ensuring visitors experience the top attractions in Andaman. Here’s how the trip unfolds:

Day 1

Travellers board a flight from Visakhapatnam to Port Blair. Upon arrival, they settle into their accommodations before heading out to visit Cellular Jail. The day concludes with a light and sound show at the historic site, followed by a visit to Corbyn’s Cove Beach.

Day 2

The second day features trips to Ross Island and North Bay. Visitors will also stop by the Naval Marine Museum, where they can learn about the history and marine life of the region.

Day 3

A cruise takes travellers to Havelock Island, where they can enjoy the famous Radhanagar Beach. The peaceful setting offers a perfect space to relax and enjoy the scenery.

An early morning flight from Port Blair at 7:25 AM marks the end of the trip, taking travelers back to Visakhapatnam with lasting memories of Andaman’s natural beauty and cultural sites.
